When I think of the popover. I think of a light hollow roll that needs to be filled with something like Au Jus. It's a must have with perfectly roast beef.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Grease muffin tins with the cold unsalted butter and place aside for later.
Whisk together the wet ingredients in a small size bowl. And mix together the dry ingredients in a medium size bowl.
Add the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until ingredients form a batter.
Fill the greased muffin tins 3/4 the way full.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
Remove the popovers from the oven and place on a cooling rack. Pierce the top of each to allow steam to escape. Serve warm.
